Melinda Bates
Contracts
Melinda Bates leads the Contracts team for Qarbon Aerospace. She is responsible for contract-related activities, negotiations, and provides oversight of Contracts function across the sites. Prior to Qarbon, Melinda held the position of VP of Contracts for Triumph Aerospace Structures since September 2019, overseeing and implementing contracting processes and strategies across the business unit’s four key product lines – Composite Components, Interiors, Military Structures and Commercial Structures. Melinda began her career in aerospace with Vought Aircraft in 2004 in the Contracts organization on commercial programs. During her 16 years working in the Aerospace industry, across commercial and military aviation, she has supported multiple programs and special projects holding a range of leadership positions.
