Same Qualified Resin Transfer Molding (SQRTM)
The scale and complexity of composite parts have significantly increased over the past decade. To support these emerging requirements, our Milledgeville site has invested in “Same Qualified Resin Transfer Molding” technology. This out-of-autoclave (OOA) process provides the site with a viable alternative that duplicates the qualified autoclave process while offering significant cost advantages. The SQRTM method has been employed successfully in various aerospace projects, including sections of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

Adhesive Film Reticulation
Noise abatement within turbofan engines is a key driver for airport regulatory compliance and passenger comfort. Engine manufacturers utilize acoustically treated structures to improve noise absorption throughout the engine. To enable this, our Rayong, Thailand site utilizes a specialized automatic adhesive reticulation machine that ensures a minimum number of acoustic holes are blocked during the bonding process. The equipment uses an infra-red pre-heater and a series of hot air jets to cause the adhesive to only be located on honeycomb cell walls.
